Considerable damage was done to the doors and locks which were broken open. A few items of salmon and fruit and three jellies were stolen together with 3/3d in coppers. The matter was reported to the police who have the matter now under investigation. 4.00pm. The information has just been received from the police that two youths have been apprehended for burglary in the canteen. A third believed to be involved is being searched for.

4^th March 1941	The school medical officer inspected a number of children due to leave school at or before the summer holidays pm.

Workmen are now engaged in sealing the drains in the air raid shelters to prevent flooding.

Specimens of the children’s work in textile printing, spinning, weaving and dyeing, toy making modelling, art work, bookbinding, leatherwork, woodwork and needlework are on view.
